DESCRIPTION: The galls here are caused by a mite and reach a height of up to 2mm each. They start with a greenish colour and eventually turn a deep wine red and finally brown. The surface is uneven and the galls can be sometimes stalked. On the underside is a small opening ringed by short hairs. DISTRIBUTION: Found thoughout the UK. HABITAT: Occasional on the leaves of Mugwort.
